Just had a fabulous dinner here! When my wife and I try new restaurants, we ask each other after we ate, would we come back. And we both said emphatically YES! The grilled octopus was tender and tasty, the NE breaded pork chops (order 2!) along with the homemade applesauce where one of the best I've had (juicy and tender). My wife raved over the steak and shrimp she got saying the steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection. The homemade apple crisp tasted, well, homemade and delicious! Prices were reasonable and portions were great as was the service and ambiance. Looking forward to our next visit! :)) Two thumbs up!

This beautiful restaurant is situated in a perfectly preserved suburban house. The interior is of an era and bright and spotless. The restaurant seating area is airy with plenty of room between tables. The staff are spectacularly friendly. Myself and my wife ordered the 16 oz frite steak rare which was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend.

This was my 2nd time coming to Louie's on the Avenue. The first time I had the pork chops, which I never order pork chops when I'm out. That was beyond delicious! Tonight I had the Tavern Burger with Cheddar cheese. That had to of been one of the best burgers I have had. I will be back here soon.

Fabulous find and experience. Planned a surprise family dinner for 12 here . Christine was so helpful in booking and execution of the event. Venue is adorable house with many rooms. Service was excellent and everything ordered was from the cocktails to appetizers and meals were not only delicious but also visually appealing. Highly recommend.

A very nice location with great food and pleasant staff. I had the NY strip which was cooked perfectly and the oysters were amazing. Competitively priced and a different experience eating in a converted house!

My husband and I went for dinner last night. He had the open steak sandwich and I had fish. For appetizers he had chicken tenders with sesame seed and I had the mussels in a garlic white wine sauce. Everything was delicious. The sauce on my mussels was so tasty I found myself eating the leftover sauce with a spoon. The steak was cooked to protection and came with mashed potatoes. My branzino fish came with rice. The sauce with light yet not overwhelming so you could taste the fish. The service was great the people friendly and we ate outside which was so nice. There are several trees and flowers around the deck. Very relaxing atmosphere 😌 we will definitely visit again.

Fantastic atmosphere, staff, food, drinks, everything was great!!!! Drew was our waiter, he was wonderful. I had the duck special (best I’ve had) husband had the pork chops (best he’s had) this place is not to be missed!!! Family owned!! Went for an early Birthday dinner & they started us off with wonderful champagne. They thought of everything to make our evening extra special.

All of the staff are phenomenal, Stephanie, Paul, Drew always make you feel like you're at home. Amazing food, exectuvie chef always has great specials. Drinks are on point, we come here all the time
